1 What We Collect

We collect only what's needed to provide our service:

Agreement data

Names, addresses, financial details you enter in forms

Email address

If you choose to receive a copy or create an account

Account info

Email and encrypted password for account holders

We do NOT collect: advertising IDs, browsing history, location data, device fingerprints.

2 How We Use Your Data

Generate agreements via AI (Qwen, Alibaba Cloud)
Store agreements for future access (account holders)
Process payments when Premium launches
Improve our service

3 AI Processing

Your form data is sent to Alibaba Cloud's Qwen API (DashScope) for agreement generation. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and is not stored on Alibaba Cloud servers beyond the API call duration. Alibaba Cloud does not use your data to train models.

4 Where Your Data Lives

Free users

Data stored only in your browser (localStorage). Nothing on our servers.

Account holders

Agreements stored in Supabase (encrypted at rest). You can delete anytime from Dashboard.

Analytics

We use Plausible (privacy-friendly, no cookies, no personal data).

6 Your Rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at privacy@roommatepact.com. We respond within 30 days. EU/EEA residents have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to object to processing.
